The two-day long ‘Daffodil Education Expo 2023’ began under the initiative of Daffodil Education Network with the theme of ‘Education Skills and Jobs’ at Daffodil Plaza of Dhanmondi in the capital on Sunday.
With 29 educational institutions in the daffodil family, the event is being organised with the entire spectrum of education, from playgroup to post-graduate, under one roof, according to a press release.
Lawmaker Safiul Islam Mohiuddin inaugurated the fair as chief guest, while British Council Bangladesh business development director Sarwat Reza was present as a special guest.
The event was addressed, among others, by Nadir Bin Ali, registrar, Hamidul Haque Khan, director of Daffodil International University, professor Md Shakahwat Hossain, principal of Daffodil Institute of IT, Md Mahmudul Hasan, principal of Daffodil International School, Rathindranath Das, executive director of DIPTI and KM Parvez Boby, director of Daffodil Polytechnic Institute. The education fair will also have educational workshops and seminars, exhibitions, academic competitions, and job solution facilities with information on admission facilities at various levels of education.
The fair will be open to all from 10:00am to 8:00pm.
