Tammat reached the base camp at noon local time on Wednesday, after a grueling 23-day journey covering a distance of 5300 meters. The extended period of cycling took a toll on his physical strength, but his determination saw him through to the end.

A well-known figure in the cycling community, Tammat has represented Bangladesh in various international competitions over the past seven years, establishing himself as a prominent and influential cyclist. His achievements include setting a record by cycling through all 64 districts of Bangladesh and being the first Bangladeshi to complete the East West Highway cycling expedition in Nepal. Additionally, he participated in the Kashmir to Kanyakumari cycling expedition, traversing India's longest national highway.

Tammat has also walked the longest road in Bangladesh, from Teknaf to Tetulia. In competitive sports, he has earned accolades such as a bronze medal at the 3rd Bangladesh Inter-University Sports Championship, a silver at the Bangladesh Games 2020, and another bronze at the 41st National Cycling Championship in 2022.
