Prachyanat has organized a month-long courtyard drama festival in compliance with health regulations titled ‘Mahala Magan 2020’. The final show from the array of performances ‘Faust or Someone Else’ took place on October 3.
The month-long event with the slogan ‘Aboshad Biruddho Srot’ has been held at the Prachyanat’s rehearsal room in Kataban of the capital. The plays was staged at 7 pm on every Friday and Saturday.
There were 20 spectators in each exhibition. ‘Khyapa’ has been officially added as the publicity partner of the month-long event. Kamal Bayazid, General Secretary of Bangladesh Group Theater Federation and Ahmed Gias, General Secretary of Pathonatok Parishad were present at the inaugural event.
At the end of the play, in the second part of the discussion on mental health - “psycho-social analysis and the present” was held where Prof Dr Salauddin Kausar Biplob, Dr. Nasir Uddin Ahmed, Dr. Helal and Dr. Rohanul Islam took part as speakers.
The plays that were staged comprise, ‘The Zoo Story’, ‘The Dumb Waiter’, ‘Hundred By Hundred’, ‘Colonel Ke Keu Chithi Lekhe Na’ and ‘Faust or Someone Else’.
