Jagannath University Music department hosted a cultural program in celebration of the independence and national day on Monday at the university central auditorium. Jagannath University Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Imdadul Haque graced the event as the chief guest.
The event featured a range of performances by talented students from the Department of Music, including ten vibrant songs such as "Banglar hindu banglar bouddho" and "Joy bangla banglar joy," that were performed with fervor and enthusiasm.
The cultural program concluded on a high note, with all attendees joining together in singing the national anthem. The successful event served as a reminder of the importance of commemorating and celebrating the nation's history and culture, particularly in the academic community.
Among others, JnU Treasurer Prof. Dr. Kamaluddin Ahmed, JnU Proctor Prof. Dr. Mostafa Kamal, and Music Department Chairman Dr. Jhumur Ahmed and teachers and students of different departments of the university were present at this momentous occasion.
