A memorandum of understanding has been signed between the Canadian University of Bangladesh (CUB) and the British Council.
Senior officers of the two institutions signed the MoU at CUB’s campus in Pragati Sarani of the capital on Wednesday.
As a result of this agreement, British Council IELTS registration can now be done at the Canadian University of Bangladesh.
Apart from this, IELTS course is being conducted at the current campus of Canadian University of Bangladesh. IELTS classes are conducted at CUB by qualified teachers. Mock test is also available at the end of the course. Moreover, CUB has digital classrooms, modern equipments - through which students will get all the opportunities to improve their IELTS skills.
Expressing his feelings about the agreement, Jim O'Neill, Director of Exams, British Council, said, ‘We are very pleased to partner with the Canadian University of Bangladesh in this significant endeavour. We believe that through this quality partnership we can make a lasting impact on the lives of students which will contribute to the development of the education sector in Bangladesh.’
CUB’s Chief Coordinator and Director, Admission, Marketing and Student Affairs, Mohammad Afizur Rahman, Head of External Affairs and Partnership Lamia Salim and British Council’s Account Relationship Officer, Examinations Md. Badruddoja and many others were present at the signing ceremony.
