For the upcoming Dhaka University 2022-23 academic year Undergraduate program admission, test for various unit based admission candidates of Chittagong region will be conducted in a fair and peaceful environment. For this purpose, a coordination and exchange of opinion between Chattogram District Administration, Police Administration, RAB, Railway Authority, Hathazari Upazila Administration, PDB, Roads and Highways Department, Traffic Department and Fire Service was held at a restaurant in Chattogram city on Wednesday evening.
Chattogram University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Shireen Akhtar presided over the meeting. It was attended by CU Pro VC (Academic) Prof. Benu Kumar Dey.
CU Vice-Chancellor said that the university admission test is a huge event. For the last two years, Dhaka University admission tests have been completed in a very festive atmosphere at the CU campus with the combined efforts of Chattogram University as the regional center. This time the admission test of Chittagong University will start after the admission test of Dhaka University. The CU administration is committed to complete these admission tests with the sincere cooperation of all quarters as in the past.
She said that the CU administration is determined to take strict action against any kind of rumours, terror and disturbances related to the admission test. With the help of the law and order forces, the criminal will be brought under the law in a speedy manner and punishment will be ensured as per the existing law.
I wish for the sincere cooperation of all the respected teachers, students, officers-employees, parents of the students, members of the law and order forces of the university family to complete the upcoming DU and CU admission exams smoothly. CU Admission Committee Secretary Deputy Registrar (Academic) SM Akbar Hossain gave a speech at the beginning of the exchange meeting, highlighting the detailed action plan for the upcoming admission test.
