Chittagong University (CU) authorities have instructed all students currently residing in the dormitories, including the Artist Rashid Chowdhury Hostel, to remove their belongings ahead of new seat allocations. This notice applies to all students who have been occupying rooms during the previous term.

The urgent notice, issued on Wednesday, allows students to collect their belongings between 10am and 5pm from Thursday to Sunday. Students must vacate the rooms they were assigned or last occupied to facilitate the process of new seat allocations.

To retrieve their items, students must present their university-issued ID cards and seat allocation documents to the hall or hostel administration. A list of all items removed must also be submitted to the authorities to ensure proper tracking. This is to avoid any confusion during the upcoming academic session.

The CU administration has made it clear that if students fail to remove their belongings within the specified time, the authorities will not be responsible for any loss or damage. Furthermore, no items will be handed over to representatives or third parties on behalf of students. The university has emphasized that students must personally retrieve their belongings to avoid any potential misunderstandings.

Students are urged to follow these guidelines closely to ensure a smooth process and avoid any inconvenience. The dormitory clearance is part of CU’s routine preparation to accommodate new seat allocations for the upcoming term. By complying with the notice, students will contribute to an efficient transition in managing the dormitories and ensuring that rooms are ready for the next academic phase.
