CU 26th batch reunion held in festive mood

Chittagong University held the 7th reunion of 26th batch.  The 1st phase of the meeting was held on Saturday at the Chittagong University campus.

Chittagong University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Shireen Akhtar was present as the chief guest and CU Pro Vice-Chancellor (Academic) Professor Benu Kumar Dey was present as the chief guest in the discussion meeting held at CU Sociology Faculty Auditorium.  Morshedul Alam, convenor of the celebration committee, gave a welcome speech on the occasion.

 Moderated by 26th batch student Kangan Das, Chief Coordinator of the Celebration Committee Md Iskandar Siraj and Member-Secretary Shahriar Siddiqui spoke among others.

  CU VC said that this reunion of CU 26th batch has become a festival.  On the one hand, the monotony of working life is removed in this kind of meeting of former students, and friendly relations between old teammates are strengthened. 

The wave of joy created among the families of the alumni by this reunion of CU 26th batch is unprecedented.

 He called upon the students to come forward in the overall development activities including academic and infrastructure development of the university.

 Later, a wonderful cultural program was held by the students.  A colourful rally with the participation of CU 26th batch students started and ended at the CU Faculty of Sociology campus.
