Tofail Islam was the chief guest at the event.  Chattogram Zila Parishad Chairman ATM Pearul Islam presided over the program and Chattogram Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board Chairman Professor Mustafa Kamrul Akhtar was also present as special guest.

Chattogram Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Shabbir Iqbal delivered the welcome address.

Chattogram Divisional Commissioner said that the government is building beautiful infrastructure in every educational institution to keep the education environment beautiful.  All modern facilities are available in those buildings.  As a result, students are able to acquire knowledge in a beautiful and pleasant environment.  Anti-independence circles are always trying to distort the history of the liberation war.  Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is working day and night for the welfare of the country.  We are working to build a developed and prosperous Bangladesh under the leadership of the Prime Minister.

Zila Parishad Chairman ATM Pearul Islam said that you are one of the architects of Sheikh Hasina's smart Bangladesh.  You are the future of tomorrow.  The government is taking and implementing various programs to make the general students skilled and suitable for the job market.  At least one technical education institute is being established in every upazila of the country.

He said, the one who shapes us for the whole life is our teacher.  Teach us to be human, form our vision, form our whole mind.  Awaken the dream in us and lead us to the realization of that dream.  They play a unique role in our entire life.  How many marks a student got, don't judge his quality just by that mark.  What matters is how much he actually learned, how much he became a man of values.  It is our moral responsibility to reach the new generation Bangabandhu's life childhood, adolescence, education, politics, culture, struggling life to young students and everyone.

In the speech of the special guest, Professor Mustafa Kamrul Akhtar said that today's talented students are the craftsmen of building a smart Bangladesh.  They have to build the prosperous Bangladesh of the future.

He said students should accept the challenges of the future.  Able to use smart technology will become smart people.  Where machine-to-machine automation is currently being done using AI, students will lose job opportunities if they are left with previous ideas.  So you have to make yourself worthy in keeping with the times.

In his welcome address at the beginning of the meeting, Zila Parishad Executive Officer Shabbir Iqbal detailed the scholarship programs of Zila Parishad and congratulated the scholarship recipients.
