Chattogram district recorded the lowest Covid-19 positivity rate of 0.93 percent as only four fresh cases were reported after testing 526 samples in the last 24 hours till Thursday morning.
The Covid-19 situation has been improving consistently for the last few cmonths, Civil Surgeon Dr Ilias Chowdhury said.

With the newly infected cases, the number of coronavirus (COVID-19) patients stands at 102,078 in the district. "The number of cured patients from the lethal virus stood at 87,294 in the district with the recovery of 41 more patients in last 24 hours," Dr Ilias said, adding that the percentage of recovery rate is 85.54. As no new death was recorded in the last 24 hours, the death toll stands at 1,313 in the district.
A total of 1,918 infected patients are now undergoing treatment at designated hospitals in the district.
