The newly elected committee members of Chattogram Press Club paid rich tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing floral wreath at his mural in front of the Press Club on Monday morning.
After placing the wreath, leaders of the new committee said that Chattogram Press Club is an organization that believes in the spirit of liberation war. Therefore, the newly elected leaders want to start the activities by paying respect to the greatest son of the nation. After assuming responsibility, they expressed their commitment to pay respects at the tomb of the father of the nation in Tungipara.
The leaders said that the support of outgoing committee leaders and young and old members of the club is needed to make the progress of the press club more dynamic.

Shamsul Haque spoke at the tribute ceremony.
