Chittagong Evercare Hospital conducted an awareness campaign to fight cancer on Monday morning on the occasion of the World Cancer Day. The importance of early detection and proactive management of cancer was focused to all through the educational activities throughout the day.
Renowned oncologist Dr. Simon Pradeep Pavamani (Radiotherapy), Senior Consultant, Department of Medical and Radiation Oncology, Evercare Hospital Chittagong (former Head of Radiation Oncology, CMC Vellore) emphasized on regular screening, advanced tests and prompt treatment to achieve better results in cancer treatment. Evercare Hospital Chittagong inaugurated a specialized Breast care Clinic to provide various healthcare services related to women's health. The clinic will offer various tests like mammograms, biopsies, consultations with experienced breast surgeons and oncologists, surgical and non-surgical treatments.
Evercare Breast Care Clinic will remain open in every Wednesday from 11 am to 4 pm. In addition, Evercare Hospital has various specialized clinics to ensure uninterrupted healthcare for all in the society. Diabetic Foot Clinic ensures foot care for diabetic patients, Asthma and COPD Clinic for respiratory care and Joints Clinic for diagnosis and treatment of joint conditions.
