The newly elected Executive Parishad-2024 of the Traditional Chattogram District Bar Association took charge through a grand ceremony.
The meeting was presided over by outgoing President Md. Nazim Uddin Chowdhury and Assistant General Secretary Mohammad Imran and newly elected Assistant General secretary Md. Kashem Kamal presided over the meeting. Outgoing Parishad General Secretary ASM Bazlur Rashid (Mintu), newly elected General Secretary Mohammad Ashraf Hossain Chowdhury Razzak and 2nd time newly elected President Md. Nazim Uddin Chowdhury spoke at the inauguration ceremony. Member of Bangladesh Bar Council ASM Badrul Anwar was present as a special guest, the newly elected Executive Council Senior Vice President Mohammad Abdul Quader, Vice President Freedom Fighter Md Mahfuzur Rahman Khan, General Secretary Mohammad Ashraf Hossain Chowdhury Razzak, Assistant General Secretary Md Kashem Kamal, Finance Secretary Kazi Md. Ashraful Haque Ansari (Jewel), Library Secretary Ahmed Kabir (Karim), Cultural Secretary Maruf Md. Najebul Alam, Sports Secretary Habibur Rahman, Information and Technology Secretary Abhijit Ghosh, Executive Members Abdullah Al Fahad, Imran Hossain Chowdhury, Mitun Das, Md. Habibur Rahman, Md. Nasimul Abedin Chowdhury (Raihan), Shah Imtiaz Reza Chowdhury Nishan, Md. Fakhrul Islam Ghalib, Noor Hossain, Mohammad Shakil, Md. Abu Kaushar Panni, Ayesha Akhtar Sanji and other outgoing council officers and members and hug learned lawyers including the former president and general secretary of the association were present.
Newly elected President Md. Nazim Uddin Chowdhury and General Secretary Mohammad Ashraf Hossain Chowdhury Razzak while assuming responsibility promised that they will do their best to fulfil all kinds of responsibilities to preserve the quality, dignity and interests of nearly seven thousand lawyers regardless of party affiliation. In addition, he sought the cooperation of all learned lawyers in this regard and called upon all learned lawyers to work unitedly to establish the rule of law.
