Classes have begun at Chandpur Science and Technology University (CSTU) In a rented building. The diligent work of Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni resulted in the approval of this university on September 15, 2020.
Two years have passed with the hope that the new building will be built. Finally, the class activities started in 1 building with 7 floors of 1000 square feet rented.
Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Information Communication and Technology (ICT) and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), 3 departments against 30 seats, 90 students get admission. 72 of them are male students, 18 female students.
Asaduzzaman Sipat and Iftekharul Alam Basunia from Lalmonirhat district and Afif from Mymensingh district said that they got admission opportunity in the university.
There are 3 classrooms for theory and 4 for practical are Physics, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Chemist and Computer Science. 4 teachers and 1 trainer are continuing their relentless efforts to create the best institution in the country. There are all kinds of modern facilities including modern lab, library, conference room, prayer room. Classes are held from 8:30 am to 1:20 pm.
Chandpur University of Science and Technology (CSTU) is a four-year (undergraduate) institution for higher education in technology. Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Md Nasim Akhtar worked tirelessly to achieve it success. He worked tirelessly to spread its success and potential from Chandpur to all over Bangladesh.
The VC said, “Science and Technology University of Chandpur is the wealth of all public of Chandpur. Bangladesh will improve if this area improves. It took a lot of work to get it up and running. I have been able to overcome where obstacles have arisen. I have had the opportunity to work in many places with honesty and dedication and have been successful. If I can do something good with the people of Chandpur, I will be successful.”
