Arranging credit facilities with low interest rate for small and medium entrepreneurs in the tourism sector will help significantly to boost tourism industry, said leaders of the Cox's Bazar Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The stated this while addressing the Annual General Meeting of Cox's Bazar Chamber for FY 2022-2023 was held on Saturday at a hotel in Cox's Bazar city.
President of the Chamber and Director of FBCCI Abu Morshed Chowdhury Khoka presided over the meeting while Chamber Secretary Nasheer Mahmood made presentation on the chamber activities and audit report of the previous financial year.
While addressing, the Chamber President Abu Morshed Chowdhury said, contribution of small, large and medium enterprises in the main domestic production of the country is undeniable.
Mohammad Nurul Huda, Zainal Abedin, Rezaul Kabir Reza, M Rezaul Karim Reza, Aminul Islam Mohammad Rashed, Mohammad Riad, Kajal Pal, Pintu Dutta, Engineer Metaher Hossain, Khorshed Alam, Salim Quader Russell, Mohammad Rashid, Mohammad Farooq, Anwar Kamal, Hossain Islam Bahadur attended the meeting among others.
Members stressed regular communication between the Board of Directors and general members to maintaining better coordination also expressed need to establishing Cox's Bazar Trade Center.
