Chattogram Port Authority (CPA) Chairman Rear Admiral Mohammad Sohail was felicitated by the port officials and employees on the initiative of Chattogram Port Employees Parishad (CBA) for the implementation of Chattogram Port Welfare Foundation.
This reception was given to CPA Chairman Sohail of Chattogram Bandar Kalyan Foundation at Shahid Fazlur Rahman Munsi Auditorium on Tuesday afternoon.
Port chairman said that this foundation will play a ground-breaking role in improving the quality of life of all port officials and employees. The country is moving forward under the leadership of the Prime Minister.
He expressed his determination to move this Chattogram port, the heart of the economy of Bangladesh, in tune with the world through the tireless efforts of all the officers and employees.
The Port Chairman was felicitated with flowers and crests from the Chattogram Port Employees Parishad (CBA) and the Chattogram Port Officers Association.
Chattogram Port Staff Parishad (CBA) President Md Azim presided and General Secretary Naibul Islam Fatik moderated the event, CPA Member (A&P) Md Habibur Rahman, Member (Harbor and Marine) Commodore M Fazlar Rahman, Member (Finance) Mohammad Shahidul Alam (Additional Secretary), Director (Administration) Md. Mominur Rashid (Deputy Secretary), President and General Secretary of Chattogram Port Officers Association, Heads of Departments, other leaders of CBA were also present in the event.
