Chittagong Port Authority (CPA) laid the foundation stone for the construction of modern health care center for workers.
Chittagong Port Authority (CPA) will construct a two-storey modern health care center center on a 3,000 square feet area between the 2nd and 3rd gates of the port area to provide emergency health care to the registered workers of berth, ship and terminal operators.
The health care center will have all modern facilities including pharmacy, X-ray room, ECG room, doctors room, observation room, dressing room, nurse station, store room. Also, the Chittagong port workers' cemetery is being built as per the demands of the workers working at the port.
Chittagong Port Authority (CPA) Chairman Rear Admiral Mohammad Sohail laid the foundation stone of these two works on Wednesday afternoon.
All the members of Chittagong port; Heads of departments; CBA Leaders; Berth, Ship and Terminal Operators Association leaders and workers were present on the occasion.
