Cox’s Bazar be transformed into modern town

MP Kamal seeks people’s support to implement PM’s initiatives

MP of Cox's Bazar-3 constituency Alhaj Saimum Sarwar Kamal urged the people to extend their support to transform Cox's Bazar into a sophisticated town through the ties of harmony and unity among the people of all classes and professions. Saimum Sarwar Kamal, also member of Parliamentary Standing Committee on Information Ministry, sought the help while speaking at different events at Cox’s Bazar Sadar and Ramu upazilas to exchange Eid greetings with the people of his constituency.

At the events, he sought blessings for the people of Cox's Bazar and Ramu, and urged the people to seek blessings for Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. MP Kamal said that he spoke as the head of Bangladesh's delegation to the newly completed IPU conference. He said that he called upon the members of the developed countries to play a key role in establishing mutual relations with Bangladesh's education system.

He further urged to initiate the inter-credit transfer system of universities and colleges of the member states with the universities and colleges of Bangladesh, and said that Bangladesh had offered to create opportunities for foreign students to study abroad. He said as to environment that he demanded the role of the developed countries to control the global warming and explained Bangladesh’s role in the implementation of SDG along with other countries.

Since Sheikh Hasina has a strong vision for Cox's Bazar-Ramu, it has been possible to convert the villages into town, improving the road by carpeting, RCC and soldering in the rural areas. He further said that during Sheikh Hasina’s period there had been an unprecedented development in education and religious institutions.

He said that no other government was able to make development in the educational and religious institutions like Sheikh Hasina's government. In addition to general education, MP Kamal asked the parents to educate every student in technical education and lead the country forward like Japan, China and Singapore.

He reiterated that Cox’s Bazar and Ramu to be converted into a modern town, and facilities including the journey of learners interested in going abroad for higher education would be ensured. Besides, he said that all types of support would be provided to students willing to receive technical education in the country.

MP Kamal further said that all the problems of the remote areas would be identified and resolved gradually. Saimum Sarwar Kamal MP spoke on the Eid greetings to the people of remote areas of Cox's Bazar Sadar and Ramu upazilas after the holy Eid-ul-Fitr. Public representatives, teachers, political, social, religious leaders and members of civil society were present at the events.
