Infection rate of Covid-19 has increased in Moulvibazar.In the last 24 hours of Friday, 41 people have been tested positive with Covid-19. Authorities urged people in the town to follow the government's instructions and health rules.
On Saturday, the Civil Surgeon's Office of Moulvibazar reported thatin the last 24 hours, 161 samples were tested and 41 Covid-19 positive patients were identified.The infection rate is 25 percent till now.The new victims are 15 people in Moulvibazar Sadar,15 people in Sreemangal, 6 people inKulaura, 2 people in Juri,1 in Rajnagar and 1 in Baralekha upazila.A total of 2871 corona have been identified in the district so far.A total of 2562 people have recovered from the infection.10 people are undergoing treatment at the hospital.A total of 34 people died in the district.
The district and upazila administrations have conducted mobile court drives and distributed masks to prevent Covid-19 and to ensure hygiene.
An emergency meeting of the district corona prevention committee will be held on June 26 in Moulvibazar in view of the rising rate of corona infection.
Moulvibazar Deputy Commissioner Mir Nahid Ahsan said thatMobile courts will be set up in the district to ensure hygiene and control the Corona situation.Further steps will be taken as per the decision of the emergency meeting of the District Corona Prevention Committee on June 26.
