A man was run over by a covered van in Savar, on the outskirts of capital city, on Monday morning. The deceased was identified as Razu Ahmed, 42, hailed from Inder Haola village of Barishal district, was a human hauler driver. A covered van ran over Razu when he was crossing the road in Amin Bazar on the Dhaka-Aricha highway, leaving him critically injured, said Shafayat Hossain, sub inspector of Savar Model Police Station.
