Country's first English full-length film The Grave’s trailer released

For the first time in Bangladesh, a full-length film in English has been made. Directed and starring Gazi Rakayet, the government-sponsored film is titled 'The Grave'.

The interest in the film has been created long ago due to the variety of stories and language. This time the interest was further increased by the trailer. The three-and-a-half-minute-long trailer was released on the internet on the evening of December 17. Where the story idea of the film came up. Although there is some criticism, it is about projecting dialogue through actors without dubbing in English.

Some people also say that if dubbed, the acting of the film would have fallen.

Producer Gazi Rakayet himself has played the lead role. Moushumi Hamid is with him. Dilara Zaman, Mamunur Rashid, Ashiul Islam, Sushma Sarkar, AK Azad Shetu, Dipanbita, Omar Farooq and others have also acted in the co-production of Impress Telefilm.

It is learned that it has been constructed in English as well as Bengali. The Bangla version’s name is 'Gore'.

Regarding the film, Gazi Rakayet said, "Not all films need to be made in two languages. However, some films are necessary. ‘Gore’ has also been constructed in English from that thought. We shot the two films separately. "

The film has already received clearance. It will be released on December 25.

Regarding the release of the film, Gazi Rakayet said, "Mujib's birth centenary is a historic moment for us. Besides, 'The Grave' got clearance as the first English film in Bangladesh. It is also a source of pride for us. Hopefully, the film will be appreciated at home and abroad.”
