Country’s first AI based UHD Satellite Channel ‘S’ started its journey formally through a Gala programme on Wednesday.
President Mohammed Shahabuddin inaugurated the commercial launching of the channel on Wednesday evening at National Press Club.
Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque, former Planning Minister MA Mannan, Ex-Information Adviser of Prime Minister and eminent journalist Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury, Channel S Chairman Freedom Fighter Ismat Kadir Gama, Managing Director and CEO Sujit Chakrabarty spoke on the event. The channel owned by Sunshine Television Limited will continue its path steadily in the spirit of the Liberation War.
Along with the programme, Channel S wants to set an example of fearless, honest and responsible journalism.
