Murad Hasan, just deposed, alone was not a problem for the government. There are so many elements, including intruders, anti-state conspiracy by the anti-liberation forces, militancy and extremism, which have become a stumbling block before the forward march of the country.

It is noted that former Jute Minister Latif Siddiqui and just-removed Gazipur city Mayor Zahangir Alam created problem for the government. The situation is being dealt with iron hand.

The country has kept the development pace continued under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina offsetting all these monumental odds and obstacles.

Non-cooperation, hostility and conspiracy by the opposition, including the defeated forces of 1971 struggles, have become another matter of concern for the state.

Intruders in the ruling Awami League, one of the oldest political parties of the sub-continent and the biggest party of Bangladesh, have turned into a big challenges for the party as they have secured many posts and positions through different ways. They got involved in various forms of corruption, misdeeds and abuse of power.

Under such circumstances, the government of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has to do everything by keeping many things under consideration.

Bangladesh has qualified for elevation to a development country through unprecedented development and advancement in all sectors, including economy, infrastructure, communications, and information and communication technology. Almost the entire world is now appreciating Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for her dynamism for which Bangladesh is now considered a role model for the world.

Like many other things, the ruling Awami League has set a lot of examples by taking strict punitive measures against the ruling party men, including cabinet members, mayors and others, for their misdeeds.

Almost none is going unpunished for wrongdoing.

In the latest move, State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Murad Hasan has been forced to resign for his recent misdeeds. He has also been removed from the Jamalpur district Awami League. Moreover, he is going to lose his membership in the Awami League.

Murad quit his cabinet post on Tuesday at the instruction of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

The Prime Minister asked him to resign from the cabinet as one of his phone calls has become viral in the social media. In the call, Murad was found threatening a female film star with rough languages.

Besides, some other comments of Murad Hasan about some women also have gone viral through the media.

Earlier, the ruling Awami League conducted cleansing operations against the party men, who were found involved with corruptions, irregularities and other wrongdoings.
