The Dhaka Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education is allowing corrections to registration errors for class 8 and class 9 students. At the same time, re-registration is also allowed for students who dropped out of class 6. The deadline to make these changes is today, September 7.
Eighth and ninth graders from 2023 can update their information by filling out the online electronic student information form (e-SIF). Sixth-grade students who were previously dropped can also be re-registered. This extension is offered due to requests from head teachers and parents to ensure continued education for these students.
The opportunity to correct or add information applies only to students from recognised educational institutions under the Dhaka Board. No late fees will be charged for these updates.
Heads of institutions are responsible for completing the registration process on time. Students who drop out in sixth grade will not be registered for seventh or eighth grade for the 2023 academic year if the process is not completed.
