Health risks are increasing day by day as people in the area move around unnecessarily during the corona epidemic. As a result, the number of corona infected people has been increasing rapidly in the last 3 months.
Since the lifting of the lockdown on May 31, people have been moving freely day and night in the hat-bazaars of Kishoreganj district, alleys and corners of every area. As a result, the number of corona infected is increasing.
In this situation District Administration arranged an awareness campaign to prevent the spread of corona virus in Kishoreanj on Tuesday (23 June).
In this campaign, people used masks, maintained social distance, used hand sanitizers, and washed their hands with soaps. These safety materials were distributed at the Circuit House premises to prevent the spread of corona virus (Covid-19).
It was addressed among others by Deputy Commissioner Md. Sarowar Murshed Chowhdury, Police Super Mashrukur Rahman Khaled, Civil Surgeon Dr. Md. Mujibur Rahman, Kishoreganj Municipality Mayor Md. Parvez Miah, Executive Magistrate Golam Mostafa, Najarat Deputy Collector Mir Md. Al Kamah Tamal, Army Captain Israt Zarin Ethar, Kishoreganj Chamber of Commerce & Industry President Md. Mujibur Rahman Belal, District Rover Scouts Secretary Md. Kamrul Ahsan, District Scouts Secretary Abdul Awal, Journalist Saiful Hoque Mollah Dulu.
Later, masks, gloves and hand sanitizers were distributed among pedestrians at 10 points in Kishoreganj town.
