Construction work of the 4-storied building of Jhenaidah upazila parishad administration complex was inaugurated on Monday. Upazia parishad chairman Advocate Abdur Rashid and Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) SM Shahin jointly inaugurated the construction work in a ceremony at the complex, said the Upazila Parishad office sources.
Upazila engineer of the local government engineering department (LGED) in Jhenaidah Sadar Ahsan Habib said, “A local construction farm of Kazi Mahbubur Rahman has been constructing the complex at a cost of taka 4.5 crore with the fund under the Upazila complex extension project-2 where all the offices will be accommodated in the complex to provide one-stop services.
