On Friday, August 23, Dhaka University hosted a charity concert titled "Joruri Shongjog" at the base of the Raju Memorial Sculpture to support flood victims. The event, which started in the afternoon, saw a large turnout of people eager to contribute to the cause.

The concert featured over 30 bands and artists, including well-known groups like Shironamhin, Shonar Bangla Circus, F Minor, Arghya Deb, Krishnakali, and Shayan. The attendees were generous, donating both money and essential items to help those affected by the floods.

According to a report from Shironamhin's official page, the concert successfully raised Tk 21,41,200. Additionally, around 20 truckloads of relief materials were collected to assist flood-affected communities.

Shironamhin expressed their thanks, saying, "We deeply thank everyone who supported us in this effort. A special shoutout to the organisers and volunteers who dedicated themselves tirelessly all day long."

The band also mentioned that volunteers will soon start delivering the aid to the flood-affected areas. They noted, "The past few weeks have shown us the incredible spirit of Bangladesh. It's a reminder that we are here for each other."

In addition to the fundraising, Shironamhin shared a video story on their page showcasing their performance at the concert. The video features the band debuting their latest song, "Keno," inspired by the student movement, performed live for the first time.

The concert not only raised significant funds but also highlighted the strong sense of community and support for those in need during this challenging time.
