The complainant of a murder case as well as father of deceased claimed the charge sheet that was submitted by the investigating officer as a false and fabricated story.
Sharif Madbor, 27, an educated young man, son of Alal Madbor resident of Adarshanagar village under Fatulla police station was murdered by a criminal gang attack on April 1 in broad daylight in front of his house.
The father of the deceased Alal Madbor on the day of incident filed a murder case with Fatulla police station accusing 11 FIR named and 3-4 unnamed persons. Later, he submitted a supplementary written letter to police mentioning more 11 names according to the CCTV footage.
Complainant Alal Madbor told the Bangladesh Post that he would move in the court against the submitted charge sheet because the majority witness is unknown and they are not eyewitnesses or residents of the incident. Not only that but also he claimed that investigating officer included some witness intentionally.
Besides, Alal Madbor alleged that the case investigator Inspector Shahdat Hossain didn’t keep contact with him before submitting the charge sheet even though he didn’t give me scope to see and read the charge sheet.
The case investigator submitted a charge sheet on June 30, accusing 23 persons mentioning 24 witnesses and the charge sheet no- is 408 of Fatulla model police station, which the petitioner came to know on July 12 by his lawyer, Alal said.
Sensing the case investigator’s evil intention and biased motive in favor of the accused, the complainant earlier submitted a petition to the police headquarters seeking transfer of the case investigation from existing officer to other officer of Police Bureau Investigation. When this matter went to the knowledge of the case investigator and then he hurriedly submitted a so called charge sheet, the petitioner claimed.
In the charge sheet, a number of 24 witnesses have been mentioned, of which 10 are law enforcers. The rest 14 except petitioner are not known to the complainant.
The case investigator included their names of whom some are resident of three kilometers off and some are even twenty kilometers from the spot of the incident. Being frustrated the complainant said that his lone son was killed by criminals and the investigation was also killed by the investigator.
“How I can get justice through this fabricated charge sheet. So I will submit a no confidence petition before the court asking for an order for further and fresh investigation canceling the previously given charge sheet,” said the complainant.
