Commodore Mohammad Sohail has been promoted to Rear Admiral of the Bangladesh Navy and also appointed as the Chairman of the ‘Payra Port Authority’ under the Ministry of Commerce.
He was worn with Rank & Badge of the Rear Admiral on Tuesday (February 22) through a function held at the Bangladesh Navy Headquarters located in capital Dhaka.
The newly appointed Chairman of the ‘Payra Port Authority’ is expected to join his new workplace on February.

Rear Admiral Sohail earlier also worked as the Chief of the Legal & Media Wing of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) and at the Counter Terrorism Intelligence Bureau (CTIB) of the DGFI.
