A day-long 'Commemorative Stamps Exhibition and Marketing-2024' was held on Tuesday at the GPO premises in Chittagong under the guidance of the Bangladesh Postal Directorate.
Postmaster General (Eastern Circle) Md. Saleh Ahmed inaugurated the exhibition as the chief guest and unveiled a commemorative envelope by the Chittagong Collectors Club. The exhibition was presided over by Chittagong GPO Senior Postmaster Mohammad Mohsin Uddin and Additional Postmaster General of Eastern Circle Dr. Mohammad Nizam Uddin, DPMG (Storage) Mohammad Abdullah attended the event as special guests. At the beginning of the exhibition, the president of the organizing committee, Senior Postmaster Mohammad Mohsin Uddin and the president of Chittagong Collectors Club, Probal Dey gave welcome speech.
The exhibition showcases the collections of Philatelic and Postal Museum of Chittagong Postal Department and valuable collections of Chittagong Collectors Club. It showcases the postal system, various envelopes and commemorative postage stamps.
The organizing committee with 24 members was announced earlier on the occasion of organizing the exhibition.
In the said exhibition, teachers and students of different schools of Chittagong city and public attended and collected commemorative postage stamps and envelopes.
Certificates were awarded to the members of the Chittagong Collectors Club on the occasion.

Runner's Ball, Hurricane, Leather Cash Bag, Old Postage Stamps, Knife, Scissors, Iron Point, Batkhara, Ticket Cancelling Machine, 3 Single Barrel Guns Used in Treasury, Post Box and Letter Box, Clock, British Era Signboard, Martyr's Post in Liberation War Aerograms of postal department including employee memorabilia, independence and liberation war memorabilia, commemorative envelopes, inaugural memorabilia, postcards, postcodes, various forms.
