The deadline for college admission in the 2024-25 academic year has been extended for the second time due to the ongoing quota movement. The Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee announced that students now have until August 5 to complete their online admissions for class 11.
Originally, the admission process was supposed to end on August 1, but the quota reform movement disrupted the schedule. As a result, the admission process, which had resumed on July 28, has been extended. The notice also mentioned that students will be informed later about the start date of their classes.Additionally, if a student wishes to change their college or equivalent institution after admission, they need to get permission from the relevant Board of Education. Without this permission, no transfer certificate (TC) or clearance can be issued by the educational institution.
Once a student is admitted through a TC, the college must submit the necessary documents and registration fee to the education board within 15 days. The extension gives students more time to complete their admission and prepare for the new academic year.
