The application process for the fourth phase of class 11 admission in colleges and madrasas has started on Sunday. This phase is open because some colleges and madrasas still have vacant seats, and some students could not secure admission in the previous three phases.
Students can apply online until Wednesday, August 14. The results of this phase will be announced on Saturday, August 17. After that, students need to verify their admission from August 18 to August 19 by 8 PM. The admission process for the fourth phase will begin on August 20.
Earlier, on July 16, all public and private universities, schools, colleges, madrasas, and polytechnics were closed for an indefinite period. The starting date of class 11 was also postponed, and the application for the fourth phase of admission was halted.
According to the Ministry of Education's 11th class admission policy, students must apply online. They can choose between 5 and 10 colleges and pay a Tk 150 application fee. Admission will be based on merit, quota, and the preferences they selected.
For this phase, 93% of the seats are open for all students based on merit. The remaining 7% is reserved for specific quotas, including children of freedom fighters, Ministry of Education staff, and employees of its agencies. If there are no applicants in these quotas, the seats will go to the general merit list.
Students from any education board in the last three years can apply online. Those who passed from a foreign board will need their certificates verified by the Dhaka Board.
The maximum admission fee for class 11 has been set at Tk 8,500 for non-MPO English version colleges in Dhaka. Other fees vary based on the college's location and version.
