After two days of mild cold wave in Panchagarh's Tentulia Upazila, the northernmost district Panchagarh is again under the grip of moderate cold wave. On Saturday at 9 am, the minimum temperature was recorded at 6.1 degrees Celsius by the Meteorological Office.
The minimum temperature in the region was 8.3 degrees Celsius on Friday. The minimum temperature will remain unchanged for another couple of days, said Tentulia Meteorological Office.
A mild to moderate cold front will continue throughout the week with fog and chilly winds. It feels bone-chilling cold. However, like every day, the face of the sun appeared after 9 am on Saturday. There was some relief among the locals in the bright sunshine. But in the continuous cold current, the uprooted, laborers, day laborers and low income people are suffering.
Md Russel Shah, Officer-in-Charge of Tentulia Meteorological Office, said that the minimum temperature was recorded at 9 am on Saturday. The minimum temperature may remain unchanged for another couple of days.
