Bangladesh Coast Guard has come forward to help poor and destitute people affected by the corona virus in coastal areas, stated a press realese issued by BCG on Saturday. As part of helping the destitute and the helpless BCG has already distributed food items and masks to a total of 2,005 families in its zones.
Relief has been distributed in BCG stations Patharghata, Nizampur, Nidrasikhina Patuakhali and BCG Outpost Rangabali under BCG base Ogrojatra by South Zone, in Ichanagar of Chattogram’s Karno
fuli police station by East Zone and in Maoa area by Dhaka Zone of BCG. Providing help to the unemployed and the poor by Bangladesh Coast Guard continues and will continue in the future the press realese stated.
