Planning Minister MA Mannan said the role of Cost and Management Accountants is very important for the economic development of the country.
The Minister was addressing the "DBC Fellowship Night-2022" for the ICMAB Members as chief guest, organised by the Dhaka Branch Council of The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) at International Convention City, Bashundhara , Khilkhet, Dhaka on December 23.
The Minister advised the ICMAB members to peruse the CMA education with dedication and sincerity.
Prof. Dr. Atiqul Islam, Vice-Chancellor, North-South University was present as the Special Guest. Md. Mamunur Rashid FCMA, President, ICMAB and Additional Managing Director, Index Group was present as Guest of honor of the program.
Dr. Syed Abdulla Al Mamun FCMA, Chairman of Dhaka Branch Council presided over the program.
Muhammad Nazrul Islam FCMA, Secretary of Dhaka Branch Council gave the welcome address. Dr. Mamun in his speech emphasized on role of CMA in the context of present global economy and competitive business environment.
Among others Mannan Bapari CERM, FCMA, Chairman of Dhaka Branch Seminar & Conference Committee spoke in the program. A large number of members of the Institute, high officials of the Government, semi-Government, Corporations, Multinationals and local companies, leading business personalities and social elites were present in the program.
