‘A’ unit admission test under General Science and Technology (GST) cluster system was held at Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia campus on Saturday.
Around 91 percent applicants were participated on the test.
The test was held for Science, Engineering and Biological Science faculty under the GST system on the campus amid festivity and peaceful atmosphere.
The test was held at six different centers on the campus from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. A total of 5863 aspirants were participated at the IU center out of 6442 applicants. A total of 579 students were absent, IU ‘A’ unit Coordinator Professor Dr Md Manjurul Haque, dean of Engineering and Technology faculty, of the university confirmed the matter to the media.
IU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Shaikh Abdus Salam visited the examination centers along with its pro-vice chancellor Prof Dr M Mahbubur Rahman, treasurer Prof Dr M Alamgir Hossain Bhuiya and registrar H M Ali Hasan.
