In the cluster system of 24 general and science and technology universities, the 'B' unit admission exam was held on Friday. The exam took place from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. In addition, only one negative incident involving suspected cheating was reported.
In the first year of the cluster system graduation programme, the HSC-passing Humanities department students participated in the "B" unit exam.
According to the GST Integrated Admission Committee, 94 thousand 931 candidates applied in this unit. In order to complete the admission test smoothly, the question paper is sent to all the universities, maintaining strict security and confidentiality, together with the representatives of the respective universities.
On April 27, the admission test was held for the students who passed the science department in the 'A' unit. Already, the result of 'A' unit has been declared. The pass rate was 33.98 percent.
1 examinee expelled
Meanwhile, university administration has expelled 1 examinee from Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University for malpractice in the test of ‘B’ unit.
According to the examination control branch, the candidate wrote on the other page of his admit
card by pressing the nib of a pen without ink. So that even if the ink of the pen cannot be understood, what is written is clearly understood. Various years, dates and other
writings were available there.
After realising the matter, the inspectors in charge took action against him.
The director of the university's student counselling and guidance department and member of the
admission examination committee, Professor Dr Mahabub Hossain, said, “we are in a strict position to
prevent any kind of fraud as
per the GST admission test guidelines”.

were present in Friday's B unit exam.
