A local group of miscreants forcibly constructed a clubhouse in the land of Andulia Government Primary School at Narendrapur Union under Jashore Sadar upazila on Friday .
The school authorities and the villagers said youngsters were constructing clubhouse forcibly from another village. The property belongs to the school legally.
Jubo League uleader Rafiqul Islam, son of Abutaleb Mollah of Narendrapur village, and Alamin, son of Intaz Ali of the same village, and others forcibly occupied the school land and constructed a clubhouse there.
Babul Akhter Babur, a member of the school managing committee and ward member, said that the clubhouse was being constructed on the playground space in the southeast corner of the primary school at Andulia village, led by Rafiqul and Alamin of Narendrapur village.
Md. Sumon, officer-in-charge of Jashore Kotwali police station, said that nobody informed them about the matter. He, however, said that the miscreants can't construction clubhouse in school land. “We will take necessary action against the miscreants,” he added.
