Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) launched a new state-of- the-art data centre on November 12, 2023 at DSE Tower in Nikunja area.
Since then, various organisations have been approaching the DSE authorities for renting data centre space.
In continuation of this, a team of four members led by Chairman of City Bank Aziz Al Kaiser, met with DSE Chairman Professor Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Hasan Babu on Monday at DSE office.
Acting Managing Director of DSE Satvik Ahmed Shah was with him at the time.
They expressed their interest to DSE Chairman for renting DSE data centre space for US based company called Cloud Delta.
In view of this, the chairman said, DSE has set up a modern data centre with 106 racks. However, the data centre still has some developmental activities left.
‘We plan to complete the development work quickly and rent out the unused space through a well-defined guideline, he added.’
