Prime Video India recently unveiled the first look poster of their much-anticipated series, Citadel: Honey Bunny, featuring Bollywood stars Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead roles. Set within the Citadel universe created by the Russo Brothers, the Indian installment promises a thrilling blend of espionage and romance against the backdrop of the 90s.
The yellow-hued poster offers a glimpse into the characters portrayed by Varun and Samantha, both depicted as spy agents armed and ready for action. Alongside them, the ensemble cast includes renowned Indian actors such as Kay Kay Menon, Simran, Soham Majumdar, Shivankit Parihar, Kashvi Majmundar, Saquib Saleem, and Sikandar Kher.
Contrary to speculations, Samantha Ruth Prabhu clarified on Instagram that Citadel: Honey Bunny is not a remake but a spin-off of the original Citadel series, which premiered on Prime Video in April last year. The original series featured Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra as elite agents Mason Kane and Nadia Sinh, respectively.
With its unique narrative and cultural context, Citadel: Honey Bunny aims to captivate audiences with its fusion of gritty spy action and heartfelt romance, promising an engaging viewing experience.
