At that time, the guests said that the Road Transport Act-2018 is basically the ‘Motor Vehicle Act’ where the fitness of motor vehicle, license, route permit and fines for breaking the law have been prioritised. Most of the time this Act is ignorant by the road users. So even using this law is not getting the expected results. According to the SDGs, a 'Road Safety Act' is needed to halve road crashes in Bangladesh.
