Child Safety Net Project meeting held in Ukhiya

A project inception meeting was held in Ukhiya under the initiative of Child Safety Net Project of World Vision Bangladesh with the upazila administration, NGOs, public representatives, journalists and beneficiary representatives to discuss the project’s goal, overall activities and to present the budget.

The meeting was held at the Ukhiya Upazila Parishad Auditorium on Thursday noon. Ronald Prabir Chishik, senior manager of World Vision Bangladesh Cox’s Bazar ACO, presided over the meeting. Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Tanvir Hossain attended the meeting as the chief guest. Project manager of Cox’s Bazar Child Safety Net project Francis Mondol delivered the welcome speech.

Upazila coordinator of Child Safety Net Project Chhoton Borua moderated the meeting. Upazila Secondary Education Officer Mohammad Ullah, Upazila Woman Affairs Officer Habiba Jahan, Upazila Livestock Officer Dr Syed Hossain, Upazila Agricultural Extension Officer Md Nizam Uddin, Ukhiya Press Club president Syed Muhammad Anwar, Officer-in-Charge (Investigation) of Ukhiya Police Station Shafiqul Islam, Upazila Cooperatives Officer Mohammad Salim Uddin, Acting Chairman of Rajapalong Union Parishad Mir Shahedul Islam Choudhury Roman and representatives of various occupations and offices spoke there.
