‘Chhutir Ghonta’ film director in hospital

‘Chhutir Ghonta’ film Director Azizur Rahman got admitted to the hospital after falling seriously ill.  He was admitted to a hospital in Toronto, Canada.  His daughter Alia Rahman Bindi confirmed the news saying, ‘My father is currently ill.  He got admitted last (Tuesday, February 16) morning due to water in his lungs and asked everyone to pray for her father.

One of the most talented producer, film director of our country Azizur Rahman.  

Born on October 10, 1939 from Santahar Railway Junction in Bogra.  He started his film career in 1958 as an assistant to renowned director Ehtesham.  His first film based on folklore, ‘Saiful Mulk Badiuzzamal’, was released in 1986. 

Then he gave away timeless films like Ashikkhito (1978), ‘Matir Ghor’ (1979), ‘Chhutir Ghonta’ (1980).  Among his 54 films in his long career are ‘Janata Express’, ‘Sampanwala’, ‘Daktar House’, ‘Garmil’ and ‘Samadhan’.
