Formed LGRD Engineer Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain MP said that the government has taken a project for development of different varieties of livestock and setting up factory for multiuse of milk for the char areas of greater Faridpur.
He said this while distributing cheques to 450 people of North Channel, Char Madhobia and Dicrir Char union Faridpur sadar upazila at a function at Badarpur in the district town on Thursday. Cheque of Tk one lakh and 40 thousand was given each for purchasing milking cows.
Chairman of Faripur Zila Parishad Md Lokman Hossain Mridha, ADC (general) Ruksana Rahman and others attended the event with Sheikh Nadir Hossain Lipu in the chair.
