Chattogram physically challenged cricket team became champion at the Bangabandhu Physically Challenged Cricket Tournament-2021 held at Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia on Monday.
The winning team Chattogram has got the champion trophy after beating Satkhira Tufan Physically Challenged Cricket team in the final match of the tournament at the central cricket ground on the campus.
Sazzad Hossain of Satkhira team got the man of the match prize while Chattogram won the match with 22 runs.

IU vice chancellor Prof Dr Shaikh Abdus Salam handed the medal and trophy among the participants and managers in a prize giving ceremony as the chief guest while Engineer Maksudur Rahman, secretary of the National Paralympic Committee was in the chair.
IU Pro-vice chancellor Prof Dr M Mahbubur Rahman, its treasurer Prof Dr M Alamgir Hossain Bhuiyan and IU Teachers Association President Prof Dr Kazi Akter Hossain attended as the special guests here.
Doctor Aminul Islam, vice president of BCAPC and Dr M Shohel, director of IU physical education department were attended at the programme while Mabila Rahman, assistant director of IU physical education department conducted the prize giving ceremony.
On Saturday, the tournament was organized by BPACC and NPCB with 5 teams including Gazipur, Lalmonirhat, Satkhira, Brahmanbaria and Chattogram with the assistance of Islamic University.
