The Eid-ul-Azha drama "Chander Haat" has become the top trending video on YouTube in Bangladesh. This 48-minute drama, set in a cattle market, mixes humor and heartfelt moments, exploring themes of love and humanity. The final scene, showing the struggles of a poor family, has touched many viewers.

"Chander Haat" tells the story of Chand, a young man working as a broker in the cattle market. He tricks farmers into selling their cows cheaply and then sells them for a profit. Chand likes Purnima, who works with her uncle at a rice hotel near the market. Despite his feelings, Purnima ignores him. Desperate to win her heart, Chand asks his mother to arrange their marriage. It turns out Chand's mother and Purnima's uncle were once in love, adding to the drama.

Premiering on the YouTube channel Cinemawala at 8:30 pm on Eid-ul-Azha (June 17), "Chander Haat" quickly gained popularity, reaching five million views and 90 thousand likes in just four days. Viewers praised the drama in the comments, with many calling it "wonderful." An Indian viewer expressed enjoyment of Bangladeshi dramas, while another from Assam found the last scene very emotional.

Many have praised director KM Sohag Rana for highlighting the dishonest practices of brokers. One viewer noted that brokers prevent real farmers from getting fair prices. The realistic portrayal of the market scene resonated with many.

Tawsif Mahbub as Chand and Keya Payel as Purnima have been particularly appreciated by fans. The cast also includes Dr Ejajul Islam, Monira Akhter Mithu, Sumon Patwari, and others. The song "Ore O Hiraman Pakhi," performed and composed by Shahriar Marcell with lyrics by Tariq Tuhin, has also been popular.

Aditya Monir’s cinematography, Rashed Rabbi's color layout and editing, and Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Raz's production have all received praise.
