Completion ceremony of the joint exercise and Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT)-2021 between Bangladesh and US Navy was held at School of Maritime Warfare and Tactics auditorium. The programme was held on Thursday in Chattogram.
Assistant Chief of Naval Staff (Operations) Rear Admiral M Ashraful Haq was present at the programme as the chief guest. US ambassador in Bangladesh Earl R Miller was also present at the programme as the special guest. High-ranking officials, participants of CARAT-2021 and other also joined the programme.
It is to be mentioned that CARAT is the biggest joint naval exercise between Bangladesh and US Navy. Officials from both countries join at Subject matter Expert Exchange (SMEE) on various topics via video conference during CARAT. This joint exercise will solidify the relations of Bangladesh and US.
