Applications for the 2025 Cadet College Admission Test are now open for students interested in enrolling in Bangladesh’s prestigious cadet colleges. These colleges, supervised by the Adjutant General Branch of the Bangladesh Army under the Ministry of Defence, offer residential education that includes co-curricular and extracurricular activities to help shape students into well-rounded individuals.
The admission process will allow students to join Class 7 in one of the 12 cadet colleges in Bangladesh, which include 9 colleges for boys and 3 for girls. The admission test will cover a total of 300 marks across four subjects: Mathematics (100 marks), English (100 marks), Bengali (60 marks), and General Knowledge (40 marks). The exam will take place on Saturday, January 4, 2025, from 10 AM to 1 PM. The syllabus will follow the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB) Class VI syllabus.
Eligible candidates must be Bangladeshi citizens, have passed the 6th standard or equivalent, and be no older than 13 years 6 months by January 1, 2025. Physical requirements include a minimum height of 4 feet 8 inches for both boys and girls, along with overall physical and mental fitness.
Applications are accepted online through the Cadet College Admission website (www.cadetcollege.army.mil.bd or https://www.cadetcollegeadmission.army.mil.bd) from November 5, 2024, at 8 AM until December 15, 2024, at 5 PM. Required documents include attested copies of the birth certificate, proof of 6th-grade completion, parental income certification, and parents’ national ID copies.
