Director General of Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution (BSTI) Md Muazzem Hossain urges people to buy products after seeing their logo on that item, says a press release. We are the real authority to supervise any product's standard as well as to give approve certificates in favor of 181 products that government determined. He said this while addressing a discussion with the students of BG Press High School as a part of 'BSTI Study Tour' at the BSTI HQ in Tejgaon in the capital on Thursday. He also said it is BSTI's duty to ensure the standard of a product. BSTI is continuing this effort. However, recently BSTI launches study tour programme among the students.
