Some unidentified miscreants set fire to a parked bus in Dinajpuron late night Monday. The incident occurred in Mirzapur Central Bus Terminal.
Police source said that the miscreant fled away after setting fire to a standing bus of HA Plus Paribahan that was parked in the Central Terminal. Later, locals informed the Katwalipolice and Fire Service. Members of the Fire Service doused the fire within a short time.
Helper of the bus informed that he had closed the doors and windows of the bus and went to a nearby hotel at 1: 30 am for taking dinner. After hearing the news of fire he came to the spot ad found that the bus was burning.
MdFarid Hossain, OC, Katwalithana said that high officials including Sheikh Jinnah Al Mamun, SP, Sadar Circle, visited the spot and asked for investigation into the matter.
Preparation is going on to file a case in this connection.
